One of the UK’s leading distributors of air compressors, nitrogen generators and cooling equipment has been sold to a global market leader.

With the support of advisors at Knights, Maziak Compressor Services has been acquired by Atlas Copco – a global market leader in compressed air solutions.

Wellingborough-based Maziak Compressor Services was founded in 1958 and has built a reputation as a leading UK distributor of air compressors, nitrogen generators and process cooling equipment and provides related services and support.

The business has many long-standing clients in the East Midlands, East of England and the rest of the UK.

Its sale to Atlas Copco will not change the day-to-day running of the business – with Maziak set to remain as a standalone company within the Atlas Copco Compressors UK division of Atlas Copco UK Holdings Ltd, under the Maziak brand name and the current Senior Management team.

Maziak were supported on the sale by a team of advisors from Knights led by James Maynard (Corporate) alongside Ashley Simpson (Corporate), Callum Fotheringham (Corporate), Erin Vickers (Real Estate) and Johanne Jackson (Employment).

Maziak were also advised by also advised by Magma Chartered Accountants.
