Tonina is a Partner in the Asset Management team.

Providing support on secured lending, property development and asset management, landlord and tenant matters, investment property acquisition and disposal, and site set-up, including registering title to all 36 miles of the Manchester Ship Canal.

Working with property developers, lenders and property portfolio managers operating in sectors from retail to insurance, as well as small property investors.

Recent examples of how Tonina has supported clients include:

• enabling a landowner to realise the full value of a development site by negotiating access and service rights with a neighbour;
• ensuring a developer could construct and sell a prestige building that required gap funding from the European Regional Development Fund, structuring the sale to ensure that funding would not be clawed back; and
• enabling a private investor to realise the value of a city centre property by creating a leasehold structure allowing the sale of part of the building for residential development.
