As an accredited family Mediator, Lucy can offer a bespoke mediation service to assist in any children or financial disputes. The sessions can either be remote or face to face, at one of our 30 national office locations in the UK. Mediation is a means of resolving disputes in an amicable, non-confrontational manner that meets the needs of both participants. Mediation can often be a quicker, more amicable, and less stressful process than the more traditional route at resolving disputes, such as going to court. Lucy also deals with hybrid mediation cases involving professionals such as solicitors. Lucy is registered with the Family Mediation Association and the Family Mediation Council and can offer the Government Mediation Voucher scheme, which offers £500 towards the cost of mediation sessions, in relation to children matters.
Examples of how Lucy has supported clients include:
- Helping to mediate an agreed outcome for clients, in relation to their complex business assets and pensions following separation and helping them to agree their child arrangements- post separation.
- Securing a shared care order in relation to the time spent by a father with his children, in a case involving parental alienation by the mother.
Obtaining a leave to remove order for child to be taken out of the jurisdiction to live abroad. - Securing an advantageous financial settlement for a client, in circumstances where her un-matched financial contributions were ‘ring-fenced’ by the court.
- Advising on complex financial issues involving pensions and significant pre-acquired marital wealth.
