Lana is a Senior Associate in the Private Client teams.
Her considerable experience of general private client work includes Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, trust administration, estate planning and administration including high net worth estates. She has a particular interest in cross border estates.
She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Law Society Private Client Section.
Recent examples of how Lana has supported clients include:
- enabling a beneficiary to inherit UK assets following the death of his UK-domiciled uncle and Russian-domiciled aunt, by proving validity of their Russian wills and obtaining grant of UK probate;
- ensuring that a number of beneficiary charities could benefit in cash from a £3.5 million estate comprising of multiple shareholdings, by administering the share sales and distribution; and
- administrating the estate of an UK-domiciled individual with assets in Spain and elsewhere, liaising with solicitors in multiple jurisdictions.
