Associate
Danielle is an Associate in the Crime and Regulatory team.
With experience working in the criminal law sector, Danielle prepares cases for court hearings and Trials, whilst advising and supporting her clients throughout the course of proceedings. Danielle is a police station accredited representative and has experience in advising and representing clients in police interviews under caution. Acting for individuals and companies who are under investigation or charged with all types of criminal offences, including Road Traffic offences. She can also advise an individual about their eligibility for criminal legal aid. Her specialism is defending clients in criminal matters sent to the Crown Court.
Examples of the matters that Danielle has previously defended include:
- Appeal against the DVLA’s decision to revoke a driving licence.
- Fraud by Abuse of position of trust.
- Financial Crimes, including Tax Fraud.
- Application to vary a Confiscation Order under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
- Application to vary police and court bail conditions.
- Application for record deletion from Police National Computer; and
- Appeal against Conviction to the Court of Appeal.
Danielle has experience in a range of regulatory matters, including student and professional disciplinary proceedings, Trading Standards investigations and Data protection, including Subject Access Requests. Danielle has also been responsible for the licensing of specific events run by Oxford colleges and guided Oxford College in the licensing requirements for their Commemoration Ball.
Danielle regularly gives advice and guidance to the benefit of her colleagues and their clients in relation to a broad range of both criminal and regulatory matters.
