Brendan Whalley

Brendan is a Partner in the Asset Management team.

He provides clients with support in relation to their commercial property transactions including leases, acquisitions, disposals, finance or refinancing of property portfolios.  He also manages the due diligence and negotiation of the property aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals, and has extensive experience in the dental and healthcare sectors.

Brendan assists landlords and tenants in relation to creation, termination, transfer and surrender of leasehold property.

His clients include SMES charities and retailers, corporates and pension funds. 

Recent examples of how Brendan has supported clients include:

• undertaking due diligence in relation to over 400 leases for a single transaction;
• managing the property aspects in the sale of a portfolio of dental practices;
• refinancing a multi-site pharmacy business; and
• pre-offer due diligence on multiple leases in the acquisition of a profitable industrial estate by a pension scheme.
