Amie is a Senior Associate in the Asset Management team.
Specialising in all aspects of commercial and residential property, Amie has experience in dealing with acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold commercial premises, lease transactional work to include grant of a lease, renewals, surrenders, re-gears, assignments, subletting, variations, relocations and expansions relating to all types of properties to include retail units, offices and warehouse/industrial units.
In addition, Amie has expertise in general property portfolio management, secured lending over real estate portfolios from acquisition to refinancing, corporate support in relation to all real estate elements as well as dealing with residential property sales, purchases and remortgage.
Amie advises and supports a range of business and individual clients in relation to their property requirements with a keen interest in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors.
Clients range from household names in the retail sector with a property portfolio of 200 plus, to individual boutiques. Amie has acted for various high street retailers such as Footlocker, New Look and Monsoon Accessorize. In addition she has advised various investor clients including one of the first Chinese supermarkets to open in the UK which has since become a landmark of London's vibrant Chinatown.
Recent examples of how Amie has supported clients include:
- working for a national fashion retailer in relation to an extensive reduction in its property portfolio by implementing break clauses, implementing flexi leases and surrenders/variations;
- assisting an international fashion retailer in relation to a CVA proposal from providing legal advice in relation to drafting the CVA from a real estate perspective to thereafter implementing the CVA which was successfully concluded;
- acting for a private investor in the sale by auction of a multi-let mixed use building; and
- managing the full range of asset management work for a reputable London based artisan patisserie and bakery including general landlord and tenant work.
